2020 Annual Conference

June 18 & 19th - UT Conference Center - Downtown Knoxville, TN

eBUG 2020 Cancelled - 3/27/2020

The eBUG planning committee continues to monitor developments pertaining to COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus). Current information suggests that the virus will still be of concern in June. We are also anticipating the continued restrictions of institutional travel, which will affect the attendance of presenters, attendees, and vendors.

For the safety of our members, we feel it is in our best interest to cancel the 2020 Conference for June 18th-19th in Downtown Knoxville.

As a result, we are in the early planning stages to host a virtual meeting in Fall 2020 to hold elections, conduct business, and get updates from ELUNA and ExLibris. There will be no charge to attend. More information will be available later this summer. I hope you will decide to be a part of this meeting! I also encourage anyone interested to consider running for Chair-Elect!

Call for Proposals

Presentations are being sought on topics relating to Ex Libris or ProQuest products, including interoperability, library instruction, technical services and public services. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for library staff in the region and beyond to share best practices, experiences, and local initiatives using the Ex Libris and ProQuest products.

  • We encourage ELUNA speakers to consider submitting their proposal to eBUG.

  • eBUG will accommodate presentations in 15, 30, and 45 minute lengths. When filling out the proposal form, please indicate which time length is preferred.

  • If you are concerned about your own attendance, we are exploring options with the conference facility to virtually present via Zoom or Webex.

  • Chosen presenters must agree to provide ELUNA and Ex Libris with copies of their presentations for posting on their respective websites, if requested. Conference registration fees will be reduced for presenters of accepted proposals.
